Chatchaya was born in Rayong, Thailand. She graduated from Ramkhamheng University in Bangkok. She has worked as an actress and then in manufacturing and retail businesses in Bangkok and Rayong. She is a mother of two boys and a very keen horsewoman. Polo has seen a tremendous amount of growth in Asia with recent development in Thailand, Indonesia, Brunei and China, as well as Singapore and Malaysia, where polo has been played for over 100 years.
